The Copper Queens were back on the training pitch at Trade Fair ground in Ndola to prepare for Tuesday’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final round, return leg qualifier against Angola.
Coach Bruce Mwape’s side switched on for the recovery session as they look to extend their aggregate score and qualify for the 2024 WAFCON at the expense of their neighbours following their 6-0 win at the Estadio 22 de Junho in Luanda on Wednesday.
The Copper Queens will host Angola in the reverse fixture set for Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola on Tuesday 5 December, 2023 at 18h00. Tickets are available from as low as K20 in all Shoprite stores via CompuTicket.

The Copper Queens are back from Luanda where they overwhelmed Angola 6-0 in the final round, first leg of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier match.
The Zambia Air Force plane carrying the Copper Queens touched down at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport in Ndola at 15h35 and were met on arrival by FAZ vice president Justin Mumba and Zambian Premier League chairperson Kephas Katongo.
The Copper Queens have shifted focus to Tuesday’s return leg set for Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola at 18h00.
Tickets for the match are available from as low as K20 in all Shoprite stores countrywide via CompuTicket.
