I have to fix issues with our passing patterns before the league starts - Basake Holy Stars Coach Abdulai Gazale
Basake Holy Stars head coach Abdulai Gazale has identified the passing phase as a critical area for improvement after his team won the Apinto Cup.The club clinched a dramatic 5-4 victory on penalties against Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC after a 1-1 draw in regular time.Gazale expressed his thoughts to Max TV, emphasizing the need for better tactical execution among his players.“We came here with the mindset of preparing the team towards the start of the league and this is one of our first high profile matches and I think…when you look at the game, you see that some of our players they still need a lot of time to work on our tactics."Even our passing too there were some challenges and that is what I am going to work on. We are trying to put together a team that can represent the team.”As a newly promoted team, Basake Holy Stars will compete in the Ghana Premier League for the first time. They will make their debut against Accra Hearts of Oak this coming weekend.
