
Criticisms make me better - Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara after win over Heart of Lions
Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has admitted that criticisms from sports journalists make him a better gaffer.His remarks come after the Phobians hard fought 2-1 win over Heart of Lions on Monday at the Baba Yara Stadium.Linda Mtange and Salim Adams scored for Hearts of Oak in the second half after the Rainbow Club conceded a Mustapha Yakubu free kick in the first half.Addressing the reason for playing Adams in a more advanced role, coach Ouattara said, "Sometimes I listen to the journalists. I listen and I take decisions because the criticism is good for me I need more criticism to make changes that is why I put this boy (Adams) today in the front.”Hearts of Oak have moved to seventh place in the standings level on points (32) with arch-rival Kumasi Asante Kotoko.Hearts of Oak take on league leaders FC Samartex next on Friday, March 22 at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
